Class suggestion: Stealthy rogue type
I know this has been asked for a bunch of times, im just asking for it also
Since almost every kind of iconic class has been taken (archer, warrior, wizard, dark necro guy, etc.) very little is left.
One of the few iconic classes left for grabs in basically a stealthy type of assassin-ish class.
Their most used weapons could be like daggers I suppose.
They "COULD" have a invisibility skill i suppose, low cost BUT with a long recharge time (hard to hide once you been spotted ya know especially out in the open).
A linking skill could be like a backstab or something and deal mucho damage with it.
And give them a poisoning attack skill like warriors have sever artery.
just a suggestion i guess

At one time, the ranger class was supposed to have stealth abilities. I see you are drawing a little of your inspiration from the rogue sneak attack damage you'd see in the DnD games.

Pirate! We need a pirate class! Arrr....
Lets just let the professionals at ArenaNet tell us what we want in the next expansion. I think they get the idea we need stealth classes.

ooo ooo ooo! what about a skill named "stab in the back" where you injure an ally, to deal extra damage to target foe, and heal yourself?

wow o.o nice of you to bring up an old thread i barely remember.
How can you some of you say that "stealth doesnt belong in MMORPGS"? (referring to other threads i made). I mean this is FANTASY, anything can be in FANTASY.
and yes i already thought of stealth runs to droks wouldnt that just be the shizzle my drizzle-bo-bizzle?
i mean the ranger LOOKS the part of some stealthy guy with the mask and all, but he has no "stealth like" attacks other than maybe.... throw dirt? lol
lets bring on those ninjas and rogues or w/e!
and as for pirates, if they are made I for some reason dont think they will be called priates, i think the devs will name them Corsairs. (which sounds better anyways =) )

I hate you. Along with everyone else who can't spell Droknar's Forge if their gaming life depended on it (since it is most likely more important than their real life).
I don't know what skills they would have, but in every game I have ever played, if there was a pirate class, I played it. Arrr...
And yes, I intend to say "Arrr..." every time I say Pirate. Arrr...
Stealth is not really a Guild-Wars-esque idea. I mean, imagine going to the random arena and fighting a team. One of them runs around in a circle for three hours. Now imagine you go to the random arena, and one person sits in the middle and is invisible for three hours.

i have an idea! you dont become invisible, but it takes your little dot off of the mini map, that would be pretty cool to confuse opponents, and in pve the enemies wouldnt detect you.
another skill makes your aggro radius really small, that would be cool in pve.
